Susan has been a Realtor for nearly 20 years. After a successful mini-career as a market research consultant, her marketing savvy led Susan to explore a career as a Realtor in 1989- after all, selling a home is very much about marketing. Breaking into the real estate business during the early nineties was quite a challenge. The market had peaked in 1989, with prices and transactions declining significantly for the next six years. Susan rode it out, learning how to sell homes effectively even during the toughest market. Since those early times, the market has ebbed and flowed and Susan has mastered the art of selling real estate in every type of market. Susan’s experience ranges through every type of real estate, from single family homes to condos and from vacant land to complex industrial and commercial transactions. From an early start with a smaller, independant brokerage, in Scarborough, Susan has also been based in offices in Markham and Whitby. The Susan Carlevaris Team is now part of ReMax Rouge River Realty Ltd., one the largest and most successful ReMax franchises in the GTA, operating from the Ajax office at 65 Kingston Road East. Susan has been with ReMax Rouge River for nearly eight years. The key to Susan’s success has always been superior customer service. She is unrepentant about the amount of time and effort which is invested to ensure a successful outcome for every seller and every buyer. She is also fiercely loyal to her clients. In Susan’s view, each client has entrusted to her a transaction (selling or buying a home) which often represents not only a major life change investment, and for many people, the largest single investment.
